The country of the building determines logistics, the applicable local framework and whether an installation can be organised. We do not infer it from your connection: please select it in the form. Requests from European countries outside the EU (Switzerland, United Kingdom, Norway…) are also welcome.

Our offer

A flood barrier is a removable or semi-permanent barrier placed in front of an opening (door, garage door, shop front, technical access) to limit water ingress. SHTEPI SAS, publisher of Batardeaux.fr, reviews your request and supports you; supply and any installation are carried out by a technical partner identified in the quote. We do not manufacture the systems.

Belgium first

How a request works

• You give the country, the building address and the openings; dimensions and photos are optional at first contact.
• We review feasibility and get back to you, in the agreed language where possible.
• The price depends on dimensions, supports and location: a personalised quote states the company carrying out the work, the scope, the price, the conditions and the after-sales service.
• Manufacturing only starts after an accurate survey.

Limits

A flood barrier limits water ingress through the protected opening; it does not make a building watertight. Water can also enter through walls, floors or drains. The system is chosen after assessment and used according to the manufacturer's instructions. It does not replace official warnings or getting people to safety.

French public aid schemes (such as the Fonds Barnier) do not apply to buildings outside France. Any local funding can be looked at separately, with no promise, and is never a condition for reviewing your request.
